Meet the team
Oliver Cox
Writer, Director, Editor, Actor, Co-founder
Oliver's first steps into film-making came very early on, when he started creating short skits using his father's webcam. His fascination with acting, writing and filming grew even further in secondary school through studying Media and Drama.
By the age of 16, Oliver had made a name for himself producing music videos for local musicians. Two years later, he had refined his skills in editing and film-making, leading him to pursue acting further.
In 2018, Oliver was awarded a place at Middleweek Newton's Screen Academy (London). Although unrepresented, Oliver saw consistent acting work, which eventually led him to win Best Actor for 'Lost' (an Italian Drama short film).
Oliver's understanding of pre-production, production and post production is what makes him unique. His strength lies in the ability to create concepts and deliver a final product without outsourcing talent, therefore ensuring all productions uphold the same vision.
Reece Henderson
Writer, Director, Editor, Actor, Co-founder
Reece's love for the film industry was first born at college after studying A Level film, acting and business studies. He then decided to pursue a career in acting, gaining a BA at Coventry University in Theatre and Professional Practice. Later, Reece completed his Masters at East 15 Acting School, graduating in 2019.
Reece's passion for film-making sky rocketed when he met a likeminded individual, Oliver, who had the same level of motivation and determination as him. Since meeting Oli, Reece has become hooked on video creation and has honed his skills in script writing, editing, and videography, all whilst still being a working actor.
Reece's borderline personality disorder (BPD) strengthens his ability to understand and create interpersonal relationships, on and offscreen, which accentuates and makes his work unique.
Whilst both acting on a short film in early 2020, Reece and Oliver met, quickly forming a great relationship. Here, 49 To Midnight Films began, standing as a platform for their acting, writing and film-making adventures.
